I'm not your average naturopath - I drink coffee, hate calorie counting with a passion and (unfortunately) I'm all too familiar with the experience of mum burnout.

When I hit my 40s, I gained 20 kilos in less than a year and was hit with multiple allergies and an autoimmune condition. My GP told me I was too young for perimenopause, but couldn't give me any answers about why I couldn't budge the weight, or get my energy and mood back to normal. I felt terrible.

Sweaty, anxious, irritated, and uncomfortable in my own skin - with no advice on why or what to do about it - I knew something had to change. That's when I decided to take back control of my health.
