Your Perimenopause Blockers Quiz

You know it’s perimenopause. This is about why yours is so loud. 11 questions, 2 minutes, no blood tests needed.

WHY TAKE IT

It’s not just the hormones. It’s what’s in their way.

For some women, perimenopause is a speed bump. For others it’s a wall. The difference usually isn’t the hormones themselves; it’s whether something else is making it harder for your body to adapt to them.

In clinic I see the same four blockers over and over: blood sugar, thyroid, gut, and a maxed-out nervous system. When one of them is in the way, every symptom gets louder: the 3am waking, the belly weight, the rage over small things, the fog.

It’s not you failing the plan. It’s the plan failing you.

This quiz maps your symptoms against the four blocker patterns, the same ones I investigate with clients, so you can stop guessing and start with the right lever.

Your biggest blocker

Which of the four blockers (blood sugar, thyroid, gut, or your nervous system) is most likely in your way.

Why everything’s louder

The physiology connecting that blocker to your symptoms, in plain English. Not a diagnosis; a map.

What to do about it

Your result comes with a short email series: how to support your blocker with what you eat, drink and do.

No blood tests needed. Your result appears on screen straight away.

WHO’S BEHIND THIS

Hi, I’m Sarah McLachlan.

I’m the naturopath helping women understand their body through perimenopause, so they can stop guessing, stop fad dieting, stop trying to balance their hormones to fix it, and just start feeling like themselves again.

I built this quiz for the question I hear from women who already know it’s perimenopause: “why is mine SO bad?” The answer is almost never willpower. It’s a blocker, and blockers are findable and fixable.
