FOR WOMEN IN PERIMENOPAUSE WHO'VE ALREADY TRIED EVERYTHING BUT STILL FEEL LIKE THEY'RE IN A STRANGER'S BODY
Ready to find out what's really going on in your body?
An evidence-based, precisely personalised, highly supported, naturopath-led 1:1 program that gives you a precise plan of what to 'Eat, Drink, and Do' so perimenopause isn't a sh!t show.
A chat with Sarah McLachlan, The Perimenopause Naturopath, to help you understand if 1:1 personalised perimenopause naturopathic care is the right fit to help you understand and address what's going on in your body.
9 years clinical practice | BHSc (Nat) | BSc (Psyc) | Australia, NZ, USA
Honestly, you could probably give a lecture on perimenopause at this point.
You've already tried the things that are supposed to work.
The clean eating. The fasting. The supplements. Maybe two or three practitioners. And you're still here, still not right, still wondering why your own body won't respond the way it used to.
You've cut the sugar. Cut the wine. Stopped the carbs after 6pm. You're walking most mornings and in bed by ten. And the weight around your middle hasn't moved a smidge.
You wake at 3am for no reason your GP can name. You read the same paragraph three times before it goes in. By mid-afternoon you'd give anything for a nap.
Your last blood test came back "all normal."
You sat in the car afterwards wondering if it really is just you.
If maybe you're being dramatic.
If it's "all in your mind."
If this is simply what your 40s are now.
And underneath all of it, a quieter thought you don't say out loud: you suspect there's something more going on.
You're probably right.
Here's the pattern I see in clinic every week.
A capable, intelligent woman who has spent two or three years (and often thousands of dollars) trying to fix this on her own. Keto. Fasting. The gym program. The supplement drawer that could stock a small pharmacy. Sometimes HRT, which helped a bit. Or didn't.
Each of those worked for someone she knows. None of them were built for her body.
Because a generic plan can't account for your thyroid pattern, your iron status, your blood sugar regulation, your stress load, your health history, or the fact that you're cooking for a family and working full days.
So every attempt costs money, effort, and hope. And each time one fails, it gets a little easier to believe the problem is you.
The truth is: you didn't fail.
The plans failed you.
Perimenopause isn't a discipline, supplement or medication problem. It's a physiology that has changed, and a body asking to be worked with differently.
The cultural script says this is just your lot now. That you're meant to white-knuckle through a decade of feeling unwell, and the best your doctor gives you is a shrug and "it's your age," or a bucket of supplements or medications to take. That script is wrong. And it's costing you.
Because every month you stay in the guessing game, your blood markers keep worsening. Your relationship with food gets a little more strained. The fog and the fatigue keep quietly taking hours from your work, your family, and you.
Feeling like this is common, but it was never meant to be your normal.
Common doesn't equal normal.
If perimenopause alone were the problem, every woman would feel this way.
But we don't.
The difference is how well your body is adapting to the hormone changes. And that depends on things we can actually see and change: nutrient levels, blood sugar regulation, thyroid function, inflammation, stress load, sleep.
We don't guess. We gather data.
The missing piece was never more effort. It was the information about your body, and a plan built from that.
When you can see what's actually happening in your blood and understand your physiology, the guessing stops. You're not following someone else's rules anymore. You're following yours, creating a plan that works for your body.
INTRODUCING
The Chaos to Calm Method
The Chaos to Calm Method is my 12-week private program where we find what's actually behind your symptoms, then build a plan for exactly what to eat, drink, and do. Built for your body, your biology and your real life (and your blood results, if you choose to include them), with me beside you while you put it to work.

What's inside
STEP 1 — FIND THE REAL PROBLEM
Health Assessment Session (45 minutes)
Your full story: symptoms, history, medications, stress, sleep, food, life. You complete your first symptom scorecard, so we have a clear starting point, and leave with clear next steps (and your blood test referral sorted, if your program includes bloods).
Your symptom scorecard
A short, validated symptom score at the start, the middle and the end of your program, so you can see what's shifted, not just hope it has.
Your precision health profile in the Shae app
Built from 18 measurements and 65 questions about your body and your life. This is the data set Your Eat, Drink, Do Plan is built from, with recipes, movement and daily timing matched to you.
STEP 2 — YOUR EAT, DRINK, DO PLAN
Eat, Drink and Do Plan Session (45 minutes) + Your Eat, Drink, Do Plan
I walk you through what your profile is telling me (and your bloods, if you've included them), in plain language. Then you meet Your Eat, Drink and Do Plan: personalised nutrition, movement, and lifestyle guidance that lives in the Shae app on your phone, with recipes, workouts and support built in. Designed around your body, your food preferences, and your family's dinner table.
STEP 3 — MAKE IT STICK
Four private sessions (30 minutes each): three check-ins and your Reflect and Plan Session
Across the 12 weeks, so we can review, adjust, and keep the plan working as your body responds. Around the halfway mark you re-measure and recalculate your profile, because your body in week six isn't your body in week one.
Weekly lessons, one short lesson at a time
A short lesson each week on what to eat, drink and do for your body in this phase, in the order we work through it together. Each one is only a few minutes long, so you can take what you need, when you need it, and understand the why behind everything you're feeling and doing.
WhatsApp support between sessions
Ask me when the question comes up, not three weeks later at your next appointment. Business days, with a real reply within 24 to 48 business hours.
Flavour First
My flavour and seasoning guide, so eating for your body never means eating boring. Because meals you enjoy make for a plan you stick with. Strategy beats restriction.
Add your functional blood panel
A 40+ marker functional pathology panel, privately arranged (no GP referral needed), read against optimal-for-perimenopause ranges, with your own functional report and a letter for your GP. Walked through together in your Eat, Drink and Do Plan Session. Included in The Chaos to Calm Method with bloods ($1,597).
Inside your 12 weeks
Four phases, each building on the last. Tap any phase to see what happens.
Investigation · Week 1
Your first 45-minute session with Sarah. We map your symptoms, your health history, your medications, and the patterns of your life, and you complete your first symptom scorecard. You set up your profile in the Shae app. If your program includes bloods, your panel is organised privately, no GP referral needed. You leave with homework that starts the work immediately.
Understand and Plan · Weeks 2 + 3
Complete your precision health profile (and get your bloods done, if included). Sarah reads your profile, your history and your real life, plus your bloods against optimal-for-perimenopause ranges if you’ve chosen them, and builds Your Eat, Drink, Do Plan. In your second 45-minute session, your plan’s revealed: you understand exactly what we found, why it matters, and what to do next. Your WhatsApp support begins.
Action · Weeks 4-11
Three 30-minute check-ins along the way to adjust your plan and troubleshoot anything coming up. WhatsApp support between sessions as you implement. Around the halfway mark you re-measure and recalculate your profile, so your plan moves with your body. A short lesson released weekly to deepen your understanding. Most women feel meaningfully different by week 8.
Reflect and Plan · Week 12
Your final 30-minute session compares your final symptom scorecard with where you started, then maps your long-term plan: how to maintain your results, what to watch for, when to retest, and how to keep leading your own care. You leave capable in your own body, not dependent on me.
Real messages from women inside the program

Let's find out what's actually going on in your body
A short, no-pressure chat. Walk away with clarity either way.
How is this different from what you've already tried?
A standard panel often misses what matters most in perimenopause, because it's read against ranges built to catch disease and medicate, not to keep you in your best health.
An off-the-shelf program gives every woman, regardless of age, background, or how close they are to menopause, the same plan.
A supplement protocol throws products at symptoms without reading the body and what's really happening underneath.
The Chaos to Calm Method reads your actual body, and your actual biochemistry when you include bloods, then builds the plan from it. That's the whole difference. Every plan you've followed until now was borrowed. This one is built for you.
What we measure. How we read it.
50+ markers. Read functionally, against optimal-for-perimenopause ranges, not the wide disease ranges your GP relies on. Included in The Chaos to Calm Method with bloods. Tap each card.

Wondering what your bloods are trying to tell you?
A short, no-pressure chat. Walk away with clarity either way.
Which of these sounds like you?
Tap a scenario.
“My body feels different and I want to understand why.”
You're late 30s to mid 50s. Your mood, sleep, or energy has changed. You're done being told it's “normal” and ready to understand what's actually happening.
- You want education as well as action - the why, not just the what.
- You're noticing things your friends in their 30s aren't.
- You want a plan built for this phase of life, not your 30s.
- You're tired of generic advice from Instagram and Google.
“I think there's something else going on besides perimenopause.”
The brain fog is too thick. The fatigue is too heavy. The weight won't shift no matter what you try. A quiet voice says: this isn't just perimenopause.
- You wonder if it's your thyroid, your gut, nutrient deficiencies, or burnout.
- You want someone to actually do the detective work.
- You're done being told “your bloods are fine” when you clearly aren't.
- You want functional analysis, not just disease screening.
“I've tried everything. The DIY approach has hit its ceiling.”
Keto. Fasting. Calorie counting. Expensive supplements. Different practitioners. You're not lazy. You're exhausted from plans that weren't built for you in this phase of life.
- You've already spent more on random supplements than this program costs.
- You want a plan built from your body's data, not a template.
- You're ready for personalised support, not another self-paced course.
- You want one practitioner connecting the whole picture.
“My doctor said my bloods are normal. I know they aren't.”
You've walked out of the GP's office feeling dismissed. A standard panel of 8 to 10 markers using disease ranges isn't catching what matters most in perimenopause.
- You want 50+ markers read against optimal-for-perimenopause ranges.
- You want the iron, thyroid, insulin, and inflammation picture properly read.
- You want your results explained to you, not just emailed.
- You want collaborative care.
Honestly, this isn't for everyone.
- You want a quick fix or a single magic supplement. This is a plan you work, not a pill you take.
- You're not willing to change what you eat, drink, and do. The plan only works if you do.
- You want someone to manage your health for you indefinitely. This builds your capability, then sets you free with it.
Real women. Real results.
These women came to me for different reasons. A hidden thyroid issue. Surgical menopause. Crohn's that no one could shift. The weight that wouldn't move was usually the loudest symptom, never the only one.
Adriana, 55 (video): Told "you're fine, it's just being a mum in perimenopause." Deeper testing revealed a serious thyroid issue her GP had missed. With a plan built around her actual biochemistry, she dropped 10kg in twelve weeks and got her energy back.
Lulu, 50: "After surgical menopause, I felt out of control, weighty, old, brain fog, poor sleep, low energy, bloated. Now I feel lighter, calmer, and I've lost 10kg. I'm in control of my moods, sleeping better, and not overheating in bed. I love the way I feel now."

Nicolina, 47 (video): Had tried different diets, supplements, and three practitioners, still exhausted with debilitating Crohn's symptoms. Within weeks of her personalised plan she was sleeping through the night and her energy lasted all day without coffee or sugar.

HELLO, I'M
Sarah McLachlan, The Perimenopause Naturopath (BHSc Nat, BSc Psyc)
In my early 40s, my body changed almost overnight. I gained 20 kilos in under a year, eating and moving the same as always. My immune system turned on me and I developed coeliac disease, new allergies. I had heavy periods, no energy, and a level of irritability that didn't feel like me at all. I was sweaty, anxious, exhausted, snapping at people, and stuck in elastic-waist pants. My doctor said I was too young for perimenopause. My bloods said otherwise.
So I went looking for real answers, in functional pathology and personalised nutrition. When I finally applied truly personalised nutrition and lifestyle strategies to my own body, I released 19 kilos in 14 weeks. My energy came back. My mood settled. I was the fun mum again. And I understood, for the first time, how to eat and live in a way that supported my changing physiology instead of fighting it.
That's what I've spent 9+ years in clinical practice doing for hundreds of women across Australia, New Zealand, and the USA. Because perimenopause doesn't have to be a sh!t show.

Your questions, answered
How is this different from a meal plan?
A meal plan gives everyone the same thing. This reads your bloods and your individual profile, then builds what's right for your body across food, drink, and lifestyle - and adjusts it as you respond.
Can I pay in instalments?
Yes. Pay in full, or split it into four: $357 a month (no bloods), or $427 a month (with bloods). The details are below.
Do I need a referral for the bloods?
No. If you choose the program with bloods, the panel is arranged privately, with no GP referral needed.
I've already had blood tests through my GP. Why test again?
Bring them to your Clarity Call. Sometimes they tell us enough that the program without the panel is the right fit, and I'll read them with you in session. Sometimes they're missing the markers that matter for perimenopause, and the full functional panel is worth doing. We decide together on the call.
I'm on HRT (MHT) or other medications. Can I still do this?
Yes. The plan works alongside hormone therapies (MHT, HRT) and most medications. In The Chaos to Calm Method we focus on the cellular foundations that make any plan, including MHT, work better.
I'm coeliac, vegetarian, react to certain foods, or have cultural preferences. Will this still work?
Yes. Your plan is built around your body, including intolerances, conditions, and cultural or religious preferences. I'm coeliac myself, so working with a sensitive gut and real food limits is something I do every day.
What if I lose steam halfway through?
That's exactly what the check-ins and your WhatsApp support are for. This isn't a PDF meal plan and "good luck". We adjust as life happens. Progress over perfection, always.
I don't live in Adelaide. Can I join?
Yes. Everything runs via video conferencing (Zoom). I work with women across Australia, New Zealand, and the USA, and blood collection is arranged near you.
Is there a refund policy?
Because of the personalised and digital nature of the program, there are no refunds for change of mind. I ask you to commit to the 12 weeks, and I commit to you for all of them. If something isn't working, tell me and we fix it together.
Why a Clarity Call first?
Because this program isn't right for everyone, and I'd rather tell you that before you invest. It's a free, unhurried conversation about what's going on for you and which level of support fits. Not proceeding is always a valid outcome.
What happens after the twelve weeks?
You keep your plan and your understanding. If you'd like to keep your plan live in the Shae app, ongoing access is available as a membership, with a session with me included each year. No lock-in contracts.
